We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help design and build the brains behind advanced laboratory automation systems—combining embedded software, robotics, and real-world impact. Ideal for an engineer who enjoys blending software, hardware, and robotics and wants to see their work come to life in physical systems.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop embedded control software for laboratory robotics and automation systems
- Build scalable applications and tools that improve robotic programming and system efficiency
- Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions
- Own features and projects end-to-end, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams
- Support production systems with diagnostic, testing, and bring-up software
- Troubleshoot real-world issues and enhance system reliability in the field
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong technical team culture
What They’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in software engineering (robotics, automation, or embedded systems preferred)
- Proficiency in at least one: Java, C/C++, Python, or Rust
- Strong foundation in object-oriented design, system architecture, and integration
- Experience with real-time systems, motion control, or robotic programming
- Knowledge of sensors, motor control, and hardware/software interfacing
- Comfortable working with Git and modern development workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience with machine vision, industrial automation protocols, or real-time data systems
- Exposure to web technologies (Angular, Node.js)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or database systems
Why This Role Stands Out
- Work on cutting-edge robotics in a real-world, high-impact environment
- Strong culture of mentorship, collaboration, and technical growth
- Opportunity to lead projects and influence system design early in your career
- Stable, well-established company with a reputation for employee retention and career development
