Senior Backend Software Architect

New Dimensions in Technology, Inc. is presently searching for an impressive BACKEND Software ARCHITECT with a minimum of three years of experience.

This is a “newly” created role reporting into the Vice President of Engineering who demands in all his hires a very high benchmark of technical and human excellence.

If you are interested in being presented for this opportunity, we would require you to:

• have a deep understanding of backend technologies, architecture patterns, and software design principles.
• take on the responsibility to drive the technical direction of backend services.
• collaborate with product owners.
• interface, guide, mentor offshore engineering teams.

Requirements for this role:

• 3+ years of experience in backend software development and architecture, with at least one year in a senior role.
• Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Python and expertise in databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Proven experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
•  Strong understanding of Agile development practices and experience working in a Scrum or Kanban environment.
•  Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps principles.

This position is located in the BOSTON/CAMBRIDGE area. You are required to be in the office 3 days a week (HYBRID).
