The Opportunity:

Own QA Execution: Perform manual testing of embedded software in a high-velocity release environment. Manage the entire bug lifecycle, from triage to resolution.

Optimize Processes: Establish guidelines for manual vs. automated testing. Lead process improvements and close gaps in the bug lifecycle.

Own Strategic QA Leadership: Participate in early design and requirement reviews, providing critical QA insight. Audit test coverage, analyze bug trends, and drive targeted quality enhancements.

Provide Metrics & Communication: Develop, track, and report on product quality metrics. Clearly communicate quality status, risks, and testing results to stakeholders.

Deliver Documentation: Maintain up-to-date QA documentation, including test plans, strategies, and progress checklists.

The Experience and Skills You Bring:

• Background in software QA across multiple companies, with a proven record of establishing and optimizing QA processes.
• Expertise in developing test plans, test, cases, test data, and traceability matrices.
• Experience managing bug lifecycles and identifying process bottlenecks.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Product Management and Engineering.
• Start-up mindset-You are an innovator, initiator, and thrive in a fast-paced, quality focused environment.
• Adaptable style with meticulous attention to detail. Experience on projects lasting 6-12 months.
• Eager to expand your knowledge of hardware; device-based testing experience is a plus!
