Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience and passion for power electronics and/or power systems
  • Hands-on experience with digital controls and embedded systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a background in electrical engineering. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working closely with developers, product professionals, and customers, and who are eager to meet new people and travel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testbeds and components
  • Develop models, application notes, and documentation for the Controller-Hardware-in-the-Loop (C-HIL) simulation platform
  • Create test and test automation scripts for low and system-level controllers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance hardware and software for HIL testbeds, improving design and test processes for end-users
  • Review and author technical papers, application notes, and software library packages for customers
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with key accounts

Role Overview: You will join a multidisciplinary international team and work closely with power electronics engineers, as well as hardware, software, and firmware engineers, and business developers. Your focus will be on real-time HIL simulation and testing, and advanced digital controls for power electronics. You will directly engage with Fortune 500 customers to educate them on designing, prototyping, and testing power electronics control systems. Building strong relationships with engineers and product managers, you will help create tailored test solutions to enhance the quality of their control systems and design processes.
