Job Overview:

Our client is developing ultra-high-fidelity Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation systems for power electronics, e-Mobility, and the future grid. They are working relentlessly to change the way power electronics control systems are designed, tested, and deployed, and to help usher in the sustainable and fully electrified future.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside their e-Mobility, power electronics, and grid modernization customers to help them seamlessly adopt and integrate C-HIL solution into their development and life cycle maintenance.
  • Work alongside their customers to help them specify, write, and automate tests.
  • Develop and maintain Controller Hardware-in-the-Loop (C-HIL) demos for motor drive, onboard charger, stationary fast chargers, battery management system, and other applications.
  • Develop, write, and demo C-HIL tests for all e-Mobility, power electronics, and grid modernization applications.
  • Provide technical feedback to their development team on how to improve our software and hardware solution based on feedback from the customers.
  • Write documentation, technical notes, and white papers regarding the design and testing of power electronics converters and systems.
  • Run pilot programs with new customers and new solutions.
  • Work closely with business development to generate sales and marketing material.

Qualifications:

  • BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience.
  • Power electronics experience and a strong interest in e-Mobility are preferred.
  • Desired to have test-driven development experience using unit testing, software in the loop, and hardware in the loop methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Python and C/C++. Other programming languages are a plus.
  • Experience in the Development of EV stationary equipment, BMS, and motor drive is a plus.
  • Experience with the ISO 26262 functional safety development process is a plus.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated that will remain engaged and positive while solving very challenging problems.

  • Willingness to take ownership and full responsibility for your projects and customers.
