Job Overview:
As a Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assess current business processes and requirements, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement, and work cross functionally to make appropriate changes throughout the organization. This might include recommendations on new technologies as well as new processes. You will be highly visible throughout and your input will be valued. Some key additional responsibilities include:
- Manage the full cycle of process improvement projects.
- Analyze business processes and workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop business requirements and document workflows to support successful implementations.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, and risk and impact assessments.
- Provide ongoing support of the core operating systems, including proposing enhancements.
- Analyze and test the risk and impact of changes to business processes while tracking financial impact; provide detailed analysis of proposed changes.
Job Requirements:
- BA / BS Degree.
- 5-7 years of Project Management, Business Analysis, or Systems Analysis experience or a combination of experience with these titles.
- Breadth of IT knowledge and a firm interest in technology and how it can be used to create efficiencies – do not need to be a “techie.”
- Knowledge of project management software and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
