We are working with an established, growing medical device hardware and software company that produces a line of products that have a huge impact on the lives of the patients who use them and their families.  The company is coming out with a new line of products and will be adding an experienced Product Marketing professional to its team to help lead the marketing effort.


Job Overview:

As a senior individual contributor Product Marketing professional reporting into the Vice President of Marketing, you will lead the product marketing strategy and implementation of a product marketing plan that you develop.  You will work closely with Product Management, Sales, and key executives at the company to ensure that your product line is positioned well to deliver clear messaging to sales and customers.  Your primary objective is to develop compelling product messaging, content, and sales materials to drive success in targeted market segments.  More detail on your responsibilities include:


  • Collaborate with Product Management to develop marketing plans (messaging, content, launch plans) that align with market directions and support product roadmap and releases
  • Create concise and compelling core product messaging which embodies the key product attributes including value proposition, positioning, and differentiation
  • Create effective marketing assets and content, including whitepapers, presentations, case studies, solution briefs, web content, data sheets, and sales kits
  • Conceptualize sales programs and digital marketing campaigns to generate demand, and work with the company’s creative team to design materials for these programs
  • Coordinate across Marketing and other teams to ensure successful and targeted execution of various demand generation activities including events, webinars, SEM, and digital marketing
  • Drive enablement and training activities for sales
  • Extend all content, enablement, and programs to show on the company website and to partners


 Required Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 5-10 years of experience in Product Marketing – preference for medical device hardware of software experience but can explore related industry experience
  • A proven track record of success in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience turning messaging and positioning into high value assets
  • Ability to develop compelling marketing programs and the requisite materials (themes, content, assets) associated with the program
  • Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and presentation form
  • Success in working in an influence-driven cross-functional environment
