Job Description:
Product Marketing is valued at this company. The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for spearheading post-product development marketing efforts. You will be the “voice of the customer” with a deep understanding of their business challenges, needs, and drivers. You will address questions around the product, the target customers, how to reach those customers, and how to package and price the product. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in sales, product, marketing, and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be the go-to expert for your product areas and go-to-market initiatives, maintaining a deep understanding of the market landscape, trends, competitor capabilities, customer use cases, and buyer needs
- Define differentiation, positioning, and a concise value proposition that is clearly understood both internally and externally
- Plan and manage cross-functional product launches that fully enable internal teams and showcase innovation to customers, prospects, and analysts
- Work with sales leadership and sales enablement function to enable sales teams with the training to be successful, and the tools they need to drive action
- Collaborate and drive alignment across sales, product management, customer success and marketing teams to define appropriate product marketing mix, strategy, and go-to-market activities
- Use your creativity and writing expertise to help develop compelling campaign themes, messaging and content (e.g., sales presentations, eBooks, videos, blogs) hitting all stages of the marketing and sales funnel
- Conduct market and win-loss analysis to develop and maintain an ongoing understanding of the changing competitive landscape and identify top product differentiators. Conduct customer and prospect research to understand buyer and user challenges and opportunities
- Measure and internally socialize how your activities support revenue growth and customer happiness
Job Requirements:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS software
- Outstanding communication, presentation, writing, and cross-functional leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinker with a vision
- Ability to thrive, adapt, and be responsive in a rapidly growing company
