DEVOPS Engineer

Our client is a young early-stage fin-tech company. Their founders are established individuals with prior successes.

This position reports into a Manager of Infrastructure.

You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the end-to-end management of  their AWS infrastructure, encompassing services like EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, Redshift and other.
• Driving  the development of automation solutions for infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, Bash and Python.
• You will be in charge of all build and deployment tools, ensuring seamless oversight of deployment processes.
• You will architect, implement, and provide training to the development teams on CI/CD tooling

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science

Experience with:

• Cloud Technologies: Proficient in AWS, with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Containerization: Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable and efficient application deployment.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on expertise in Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
• Version Control: Familiarity with GitHub Workflows for collaborative development and version control.
• Linux: In-depth knowledge and proficiency in Linux-based systems.
• Automation Tools: Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and Ansible for configuration management.
• Logging and Monitoring: Familiarity with Splunk and ELK stack for log analysis and monitoring.
• Scripting Languages: Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and system tasks.
